I value my relationship with Lamar Transit Advertising and realize that my bench campaign provides the greatest exposure available for my advertising dollar.  Being able to geographically target an area of town allows me to focus my message where potential customers live, work and play.

I love knowing that the benches are working for me 365 days a year, 24 hours a day in full color and in prime time.  They cannot be tossed out with the recycling or ignored.  Not only do my perspective clients recognize me from my bench ads, but professionals in real estate, title and insurance perceive me as a major player in the extremely competitive field of mortgage lending.

Bench ad displays have catapulted me into the big league and at a price anyone can afford.

Thank you Lamar,

Dear Brad:

I am writing you to let you know how pleased I am with Lamar and our Lamar account manager Rachel Hall. Lamar has played an important part in George Fox University achieving its marketing goals despite a down economy.

Helping us meet our challenge
As you may know, George Fox University is one of the top Christian colleges on the West Coast and is historically known for its undergraduate program. Fewer people know we also offer seminary, adult degree-completion and graduate degrees in business, education, and counseling at our centers in Portland, Salem, and Boise.

We came to Lamar to help us build awareness of these programs and teaching centers. I’m happy to tell you we’re pleased with the results.

We are reaching our target audience
Since the students who use our teaching centers are commuters, it made sense to use billboards, poster showings and transit advertising. We targeted our outdoor advertising campaigns to reach Portland, Boise, Salem and other parts of the Willamette Valley. On any given day, we were reaching nearly a half million people in our target markets.

Outdoor advertising is economical
George Fox this year transitioned much of its advertising away from print media. By shifting a large part of our marketing budget to high-visibility outdoor advertising, we’ve been pleased to reach far more people for less.

Friendly and Professional Service
Since we were new to outdoor advertising, Rachel was invaluable in helping us understand our options and the best ways to reach our target audience using Lamar’s large inventory of products and options, including full backs, king kongs, kings, digital billboards, rotary billboard programs, posters, and full-size billboards. She was flexible and always ready to answer our questions.

Bottom Line: It Works!
More important than the many positive responses we got from our students and alumni are our results. Costs went down and applications went up. This spring, despite a recession, we have enrolled a record number of students. There’s no doubt Lamar has played a vital part in our marketing mix.

Thank you,

Rob Felton
